Let’s face it, we all have a pretty good idea of what’s best for us and what we need to do to meet our own personal health and well-being goals. It’s just the getting started that can sometimes seem like such an insurmountable task, and it never quite fits into our busy schedules. So we always end up consigning those goals to the “later” list.
I’m here to help you reach for your goals – not later, but now—and for the long term. With manageable changes that will last. It’s about feeling better in your own skin and making changes that work, that support you and are based in your reality. Because really, when you’re enjoying yourself and things are working for you, these things just stick.
So whether you want to have more energy, better sleep, better moods, to lose weight or, simply to get yourself and your family on a healthier track for overall good living, I want to help you do that. So rather than spending your time obsessing over calories, carbs, fats, good foods, bad foods and the latest health craze, let’s just work together to find what works best for you, and get there.
We all start somewhere, and it’s a step by step process.
I remember calling my mother from the grocery store one day, not knowing what do do with myself because the only eggs they happened to have were organic. Well, I didn’t want organic eggs. After all – there had to be a reason we used all these chemicals, they must need them to kill off all the germs and bacteria, right?
While I can’t say that day was decades ago, and I don’t even know who I was back then – I can say that I’ve come a long way in terms of my grip on reality, what’s real, what’s good, what isn’t good and what all of that means for our health, our state of mind and our overall well-being.
A couple of years later, and a far cry from where I was that day in the grocery store, after studying over one hundred dietary theories with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I’ve become a certified health counselor. I’ve learned how what works for one person is not going to work for the next, I’ve learned it’s not just about the food and the workouts, and most of all that what most of us need is a bit of guidance, some education and the support of someone who is as focused and as determined to reach our personal goals as we are.
